Postcard. Caption on front: The Carney Hospital, Dorchester, Massachusetts. Postally unused. On verso: The Carney Hospital was founded in 1863. The opening of the new Hospital took place Nov. 27, 1953. It is a 315 bed general hospital conducted by the Sisters of St. Vincent de Paul.

 The original Carney Hospital building was in South Boston.
