Photograph of Barrack, Savin Hill. "The gambrel roof house is the old dwelling of the Bakers and was built before the Revolution. The pitched roof building was built for a barrack for American soldiers at the beginning of the Revolution and at end of the war was finished for a dwelling house. Published in Official Program, Dorchester Day, Saturday, June 7th, 1913.
