No. 1366: Morton House
Postcard #1366

Photograph published in Lost Examples of Colonial Architecture / John Mead Howells. New York : Dover, 1963.

Howells says the property is in Roxbury. Howells says that the house is undoubtedly by Bulfinch. Note, however, that Sarah Morton once said that she designed it herself. Keep in mind that Bulfinch was her cousin. Built 1796 and demolished in the 1880s.
