Postcard #4071

Postcard. Caption on front: For Cold Propositions Mattapan Has Em All Beat. Postmarked Mattapan, April 6, 1913. With one-cent stamp. On verso: Anglo Kid Series. With logo of American Art.

Pennant cards were very popular in the 1910 to 1920 period. These generic cards could be stamped on the pennant with the name of a local neighborhood or town--in this case with the name of the Dorchester village of Mattapan.
