 Organized in January, 1878. The church building was built in 1894 to the design of Francis R. Allen in association with W.H. Bralvard. It is located at the corner of Wilder Street.

In 1930 its Pastor was Flint M. Bissell.

In March, 2003, the sign on the church was Holy Tabernacle Church.
