St. Angela's Church is a red brick church of the Roman style at 1548 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, begun by Keely and Houghton, and improved by Charles Maginnis in 1918.

Comments: I graduated from St. Angela's School,
Class of 1946. My family lived in Mattapan for many years and I remember at school's end Father Ryan would gave us a shiny red apple! I attribute my good life to the wonderful care and "feeding" of my family and St. Angela's. Is the firestation still next door? It was a wonderful time!
