EarthWorks Teen Group visited the Dorchester Historical Society on July 8, 2009
EarthWorks partnered with the Dorchester Historical Society to plant fruiting shrubs and trees at the Society's headquarters property. On July 8th, the organization brought teens to Edward Everett Square to see the progress of growth of the orchard in Richardson Park and at the Society's William Clapp House and to take part in a Historical walking tour of the Edward Everett Square neighborhood.

The group stopped at the bronze scupture of a Clap Favorite Pear at the intersecton of Columbia Road, Massachusetts Avenue, Cottage Street and Boston Street.

The group got the full historical tour and examined the new and old orchards at the Dorchester Historical Society's headquarters.

The Clap Favorite Pears are growing.
