 Click image for more information Singer/ songwriter Erin Daneele Lyder was born and raised in Dorchester Lower Mills and attended St. Gregory’s Elementary School. The youngest of six children, Daneele has mentioned her older brother Kareem Lyder as a driving force in her budding music career. She has another brother whose stage name is “Steis,” who is pursuing a career as a rapper. She graduated from Berklee College of Music on a 4 year full scholarship, and has performed for Smoky Robinson, Phillip Bailey from Earth Wind and Fire, President Barak Obama and 3 time Grammy Award winner Donnie McClurklin to name a few. In 2009, Erin made her Television debut as a semifinalist on Gospel Music Channel’s reality singing competition, Gospel Dream. Daneele recently appeared on American Idol Season 10 and received a golden ticket to Hollywood.
