 Contained in an album at the Dorchester Historical Society of about 150 photos kept by Nathaniel R. Perkins, MD, who examined thousands of men who were going into the war, 1914-1918. Given by Mrs N. R. Perkins in accordance with instructions from her late husband, Dr. Nathaniel P. Perkins of 1122 Adams St, Dorchester. Index catalog has entries for the individuals.

 Sewell W Rich Born Cohasset Dec 26, 1894. Graduated from Osgood Primary School 1900 Mary Hemenway (Boston) 1907. Mechanics Art High 1908-1909 Enlisted Mass Calvary headquarters Dept May 1916 on Mexican border June 1916 was then transferred at his own request to D troop. Was at Ft Bliss five months on return from the border called for service again June 1917 calvary changed to 102d machine gun battery troop B 15 co B Now made Corp to France Sept 1917to the front line trenches [more] taken prisoner.
