Lot 434 Grave 53 Beech Avenue Church of the Advent Lot
 Matilda Catherine Schoolcraft was born in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, in 1814 to Commodore Richard Taylor, a native of Virginia and brother of General and later President Zachary Taylor, and Catherine Taylor, a native of Richmond, Virginia. Future President Abraham Lincoln spoke in favor of the election of Zachary Taylor to the presidency in 1848 at Richmond Hall at 1111, 1113 Washington Street in Dorchester Lower Mills. Matilda Schoolcraft was the wife of the successful actor, Harry R. Schoolcraft, and the mother of the coiaedian, Luke Schoolcraft. She died in Cambridgeport on December 16, 1881 from Apoplexy at the age of 67 years and 9 months. L. Jones and Son were the undertakers, and she was interred on December 20, 1881.
