Baracchini is a name that is very popular in Dorchester, both in connection with soda, ice cream, confectionery, etc., and also as one of the leading caterers, who can supply all the necessaries, from the spoons to the music for all sorts of dinners, festivals, balls, weddings, parties, etc., and does it efficiently and in high class style, and at prices which are as popular as the entertainments. Mr. Baracchini is an experienced baker as well as confectioner, and makes bread which commends itself when once it has been tried, and in both baking and ice cream-making always produces the best, a fact which has secured him a very large patronage of the best class of Dorchester and Roxbury residents. He has been established here for five years and previously was connected with the well-known firm of “Hendrie’s” where his previous practice and experience in the catering business was naturally added to and strengthened. In ice cream, sherbets, ices and frappe, this house has no superior. The factory part of the Store is equipped with electric power and all other appliances for turning out ate these products on a large scale.
He is a native of the celebrated city of Carrara, in Italy, which has supplied the arts with marble for ages, but he has lived in the United States nearly all his life and is in all respects an American: He is a member of several societies.
