Proprietor of a grocery store and bakery, at 364 Bowdoin Street, Dorchester

S.S. Bradlee is the proprietor of a reliable grocery store and high class bakery at No. 364 Bowdoin Street, Dorchester. The place was established in 1906. The store is roomy and neat and is inviting and wholesome in appearance.  The grocery department is well stocked with staple and fancy groceries, teas, coffees, spices, butter, cheese, table delicacies, flour, sugar, molasses, vinegar, pickles, canned goods, jar goods, family flour, etc.  Mr. Bradlee makes a specialty of the sale of the “King Arthur” and “John Alden” brands of family flour, together with other equally reliable makes.  The prices which rule in this store are remarkably low.   In the bakery department, Mr. Bradlee has from all the leading bakers, bread, rolls, pies, cakes, etc., of the most delicious description which are much sought after by the families in the neighborhood.  The Bradlee bakery products are simple perfect examples of the modern bakers’ art.

Mr. Bradlee was born in Milton, this state.  He is much respected in the community and is regarded as a man of the highest integrity and honor, as a businessman and a man without reproach, as a private citizen.  He is extremely popular in all circles where he is known.
