Men and women are so constituted that the peculiar talent of each individual has somewhere its adaptation or use. Few persons have the necessary self-control, executive ability and tact necessary for the exacting and delicate duties connected with the burial of the dead. Particularly is this so where death has resulted front accident or contagious diseases.
Mr. Crane is well-fitted for these duties, both by natural aptitude and long experience, hawing devoted 19 years to the duties of this profession.
He has an office and warerooms at 1857 Dorchester Avenue, Ashmont, with telephone connection and also at the corner of Talbot Avenue and Norfolk S; also at 391 .Massachusetts Avenue, Boston. He has all the necessary facilities for attending to the business in all its brandies. He carries in stock a full line of caskets and coffins, trimmings and funeral goods. He
takes full charge of funerals, does embalming in the most modern scientific manner and performs all the ditties on connection with the banal of the dead.
Mr. Crane also has a very fine ambulance.
Mr. Crane is well known throughout Dorchester and Milton. He was born at Dorchester Lower Mills, the son of Henry Crane, the well known livery-man there. He is one of Dorchester’s active and energetic business men and is much esteemed throughout the community. M r. Crane is a member of Macedonian Lodge and Dorchester Royal Arch Chapter. F. and A. M., Joseph Warren Commandery, K. T., Aleppo Temple, Mystic Shrine, and Dorchester Lodge, No. 158, I. O. O. F. He is also a member of the Red Men and the Ancient Order of United Workmen.
