An Expert Carpenter and Builder, 1878 Dorchester Avenue, Ashmont
One of the best known and most highly successful representatives of the building trade in Dorchester is H. (Henry) H. DeLorie, carpenter and builder, of No. 1878 Dorchester Avenue, Ashmont. Mr. DeLorie established his business in Ashmont about ten years ago. His shop is in the rear of the street number named and is fully equipped with mechanical appliances for the performance of the highest class of work. He makes a specialty of the erection of fine dwelling houses, and many of the most notable structures I the district are examples of his skill and handiwork. He employs a large force of skiled men, whose number varies in accordance with the size and importance of the contract in hand. Mr. DeLorie furnishes estimates on work to be done and solicits contracts of every description. He makes a special feature of jobbing work, which he does faithfully and promptly and to the complete satisfaction of his employers.
Mr. DeLorie is a native of Canada and has been a resident of Dorchester for the last ten years. He is a popular man in the community and a citizen universally respected and esteemed. He is a member of the Ashmont Club, in which he is active. His charges for work done are notably reasonable
