T.(Thomas?) J. Farquharson, the carpenter and builder, of No. 1815 Dorchester avenue, Aslmont, has the reputation of being among the leading men in the building interests of Dorchester. He established his business 13 years ago and has occu¬pied his present location since 18115. His shop is 50 by 50 feet in dimensions and is operated by electric p over. A force of men numbering eight or ten is con¬stantly employed. Mr. Fariptharson’s trade comes from all parts of Dorchester and its vicinity. He makes a specialty of the erection of fine dwelling houses and also fits up offices and stores in the most effective manner. Jobbing work, in all of its braches, is skillfully done. Mr. Farquharson has an enviable reputation for the fidelity with which he lives up to every contract into which he enters, never slighting even the most minute and seemingly unimportant de¬tail. It is this reparation for keeping his agreements to the letter which has given him the prestige he bolds in the community as a business man of the highest integrity and honor.
Mr. Farquharson was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, and bas been a citizen of Boston for the last 16 plus years. He is an active member of the Master Builders’ association. His standing as a private citizen in Dorchester is as high as his standing in the business world, and he commands the unqualified respect of all of his fellow men in all walks of life.
