Fairlield’s Prescription Pharmacy at Dorchester Avenue and Lansdale Street, Dorchester, was established eight years, ago by W. H. Fairfield and enjoys a wide reputation for the high excellence of the service it renders to the public in every department of its business. The store is commodious and attractive in its appointments, being fitted with oaken fixtures, plate-glass show cases, etc. Its most conspicuous feature is a Low Art soda water fountain, one of the most striking and tasteful creations of its kind in the district. This fountain is a most popular resort in the summer months, for the delicious, re­freshing and health-giving beverages which are drawn from its shining fauc­ets are unexcelled in every way and are much in demand. The establishment is stocked with a supply of goods which is superlative in its character, consisting of drugs, chemicals, toilet articles, patent medicines, rubber goods, imported awl domestic perfumes, confectionery, sick room supplies, stationery, cigars, novel ties, etc.. in great variety.

Mr. Fairfield was born, in this state. He is a member of the Massachusetts Pharmacists’

Association, the Boston Retail Druggists’ Association, the National Retail Druggists’ Associatiom and the Improved Order of Red Men. He is still in the prime of life and is highly .respected and esteemed by all in the community which he lives,
