A (Antony L.) Marchetti, fruit dealer and con­fectioner at, No. 109C0 Dorchester Ave­nue, Dorchester, has the largest and most comprehensive assortment of those commodities to be found in that part of the district. Mr. Marchetti opened his store in July, 1903, and it has been are of the most popular business houses on the avenue for more than four years. The store is large and contains a fine display of goods for the benefit of its patrons. The selection of fruit which Mr. Marchetti has at all times is tea.ly remarkable in its character. It contains examples of the fruit of almost every clime under the sun, many of them being of great rarity in this latitude. The confectionery he sells is also of the choicest varieties and of the most famous manufacture. Ile also keeps it tine assortment of imported and domestic cigars, cigarettes and tobaccos, which is most satisfactory to critical smokers. In the rear of the store is an ice cream parlor, where most delirious and refreshing ice cream is sold by the plate or in larger quantities.

Mr. Marchetti is a native of Italy and has been a resident of Boston for the last fifteen years. He is a member of the Union Eolia Incorporata, an Italian society. He conducts at wholesale bus­iness down town at Nos. 83-84 Com­mercial Street ‘where he sells fruit to dealers. He is still a young man. He has telephone connections.
