Pracical and Expert Electrician, 357 Washington Street, Dorchester
C.(Charles) S. Pinkham, the electrical expert, established himself in business in this district 16 years ago and has occupied his present location at No. 357 Washington Street, for the last seven years. He makes a notable specialty of all kinds of electrical work, such as installing electrical apparatus in residences, apartments, clubs and other buildings; arranging electrical decorations for dinners and parties at short notice, etc. He also furnishes estimates on the cost of proposed contracts and does general repairing. He keeps on hand a large and comprehensive stock of supplies for his own use, in order that he may be fully prepared to meet the demands of any work he might be unexpectedly called upon to perform. Mr. Pinkham has executed most of the important electrical contracts made in this region in recent years, among the notable examples of which may be mentioned, the wiring of the Sherman Block, the Colonial Club, the Dorchester women’s Club the Gleason Street Baptist church and many others, as well as the care of the residences of some 600 Dorchester people. Mr. Pinkham has made an exhaustive study of the science of electricity and keeps fully abreast of the times in every development made in it and is an acknowledged expert of highest order of attainment.
Mr. Pinkham was born in New Hampshire and has made his home in Dorchester for man6y years. He is highly respected in the community, not only for the prominent place he occupies as an expert in electricity, but for his admirable social qualities. Everybody who knows him likes him, and he has the esteem of all.
