Headquarters for All Kinds of Fish, 315 Washington Street, Dorchester.

The Washington Fish Market at No. 315 Washington Street, Dorchester, is recognized as the headquarters for all that is bests in fine fish in that part of the district.  It was established in 1904 by G. F. Marden, Jr., its present owner.  Thu store is neat and attractive in appearance and is provided with refrigera­tors and ice boxes for the proper preservation of its perishable stock.  The supply of fish from ocean, lake and stream, which is always to be found there is large and varied and every effort is made by the proprietor to please is patrons and make trading in his store a pleasure.  Lobsters are boiled on the premises, in order that they may be sure of being fresh, and oysters are opened at the houses of customers, if so desired.  The stock includes fresh, salt, dried, smoked and pickled fish, lobsters, crabs, oysters, clams and choice brands of canned fish.  The patronage of the establishment is drawn principally from its immediate neighborhood, its customers numbering the best families in the neighborhood.

Mr. Marsden was born in Dorchester and was educated in the schools of the district.  He is a young man who is widely known among the people of the place and is highly respected. His conduct of his business is such as to win the admiration of all who are conversant with it, and it is one of the favor­ite mercantile houses in its section.  From long experience, the residents thereabout know that they will always be well served, so loan as they trade at the Washington Fish Market.
