Mrs. S. E. Spink

Owner of model bakery, grocery and dry goods store, Magnolia and Wayland streets.

Mrs. S. (Susan) E. Spink, who keeps a bakery, grocery and dry goods store at Magnolia and Wayland streets, Dorchester, is one of the best-known figures in the business life of the locality.  Mrs. Spink opened her store four years ago, and her neighbors have found it a most desirable acquisition to that section of the district.  The salesroom is scrupulously neat and clean and is wholly attractive in appearance and comfortable to trade in.  There are to be found there  a large variety of high-grade goods on sale, including bread, rolls, pastry, cake, all kinds of light groceries, wood, coke, charcoal, Boston ice cream, soda water, college ices, cigars, cigarettes, tobacco, dry goods, notions, small wares, etc., in great abundance, together with newspapers and the monthly magazines.  The goods on sale are of high quality and can be thoroughly relied upon in every respect, and people know just what they are buying when they trade there, but the prices are of the lowest.  Householders I the locality are liberal in their patronage, not alone because of the good things to be had in the store, but because they like Mrs. Spink for her amiable characteristics and her constant efforts to please all who come with the threshold of her model establishment.

Mrs. Spink is a native of Providence, R. I. and has lived in Dorchester a number of years.  She is one of the most popular trades people in the neighborhood and is highly regarded by all who know her and her cheerful store.
