Date of construction:  in the range of 1910-1912 – The 1910 atlas shows vacant land and the Dorchester Blue Book of 1913 has an entry for Capt. and Mrs. Edward Holm.

Architect: need to search for building permit

The house at 47 Beaumont Street was built for Captain Edward and his family soon after 1910.  Edward and his wife were born in Norway.  He was a mariner.

Captain Edward Holm of harbor No. 4, a prominent Boston racing captain, is this year in command of the schooner yacht Chanticleer.
