Samuel Adams, the sanitary plumber and gasfitter of 858 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, established his business 10 years ago. His store is spacious, and he carries a large stock of plumbing supplies. Mr. Adams is a practical plumber and one of the most skilful in his line of  work in Dorchester.  He does all kinds of gasfitting, making a specialty of every description of heating work.  He installs systems of ventilation and drainage, and places furnaces, stoves and ranges in position and makes all kinds of repairs on the sane.  As an expert workman, Mr. Adams stands second to none in this district and has many important and difficult pieces of work to his credit in the buildings of this part of the city.  He employs a large force of mechanics and furnishes estimates on jobs to be done.  His is noted for the fidelity with which he carries out [on] all of the contracts he undertakes, never slighting a single detail of the work, no matter how unimportant it may be.

Mr. Adams is a native of Scotland and has been a resident of Boston for he last 20 years.  He has worked at the plumbing trade for 10 years.  He is a member of the Odd Fellows.  He is known as a public-spirited member of the community and as on who takes great pride in the place in which he lives.  As a business man, Mr. Adams has a Most enviable reputation, while in private life, he is respected and esteemed by all of his fellow men.
