Artistic painter and decorator, 20 Standish Street, Dorchester

One of the best patronized painters, decorators and wall paper hangers in this district is Andrew Egner, of No. 20 Standish Street opposite Harvard Station, Dorchester.  Mr. Egner established his business in 1904.  He does house painting and interior decorating and sign painting in the most artistic manner, and his work always receives commendation from those for whom it is done and from others who see it.  He keeps a large stock of supplies on hand to use in his own business.  Mr. Egner has been called upon to do some of the most important work in hi line in this region.  He makes use of only the highest grade of paits, and it has frequently been the subject of comment that the work Mr. Egner does lasts longer and looks better than that done by most painters.  He has a large patronage, and his engagements frequently call him a considerable distance from home, for his reputation for artistic and durable work is widespread among ther builders of the region.

Mr. Egner was born in the kingdom of Norway and received his early school in his native land.  He has been a resident of Boston for the last 13 years and has been connected with his trade for 22 years.  he is eminently practical and knows thoroughly all branches of his business.  He is a popular member of the Dorchester community and is highly respected and esteemed by all who know him, and he is widely known.
