One will have to go far to find a more modern or thoroughly satisfactory drug store than that of Char1cs S. Hall, at No. 390 Columbia Road, corner 390 Quincy Street, Dorchester. This up-to-date pharmacy was established in 1901 and entered upon a life of prosperity the moment its doors were swung open to the patronage of the public. The store is spacious and altogether attrac­tive in appearance, with its fixtures of hard wood and its handsome soda water fountain and its large and comprehen­sive selection of goods artistically and tastefully displayed.  The stock of goods carried there consists of pure drugs, chemicals, proprietary medicines, rubber goods, toilet requisites, sick room and hospital supplies, physicians’ and sur­geons’ supplies, delicate perfumes. both imported and of American manufacture, stationery, confectionery, cigars, cigar­ettes and tobaccos, of the standard and most popular brands, druggists’ novel­ties, etc., in never-ending variety.   A competent corps of assistants is em­ployed in the establishment, and there is never any unnecessary delay in attend­ing to the wants of customers in this store. Mr. Hall makes a notable spe­cialty of the compounding of the pre­scriptions of physicians and does a large business in this important department of his work. Ile uses the freshest and purest ingredients in the composition of these important medicines and enjoys an enviable reputation among medical men for care and accuracy in his prescrip­tion work.

Mr. Hall is a member of the National Association of Retail Druggists and of the Boston Retail Druggists Association. He is highly respected and esteemed in the community.
