George Moore

Dealer in fine groceries, 80-82 Savin Hill Avenue, Dorchester

One of the most reliable grocery houses and one which commands a deservedly large patronage as well, is that of George Moore at Nos. 80-82 Savin Hill Avenue, Dorchester.  It was established in 1902 and has been a most popular food supply house since that time.  The store is large, and its fine stock of goods is well displayed.  The stock consists of choice staple and fancy groceries, teas, coffees, spices, butter, cheese, eggs, canned goods, table delicacies, breakfast and luncheon dainties, jar goods, flour, fruits, vegetables, farm and dairy products of every description, etc., in unending variety.  Everything in the establishment is of the highest grade and is guaranteed as to to quality, for Mr. Moore will offer nothing to this patrons which is not a superlative character.  But his prices are as low as the lowest, for all that, and critical housewives find it in the interest of real household economy to patronize the store regularly.

Mr. Moor has lived for many years in this city, though he was born in Australia, and he was reared and educated there.  He is still a young man, however, and is a member of the Odd Fellows.  He is a popular member of the business and social circles with which he is connected and is highly regarded by all who know him.
