The firm of J. Fulton & Co., dealers in fine groceries and provisions at Nos. 1271-1273 Dorchester Avenue, Glover’s Corner, Dorchester, which was founded in 1890, is now under the sole ownership of William Fulton. The store is large and well appointed, one portion, No. 1271, being devoted to the grocery department, while No. 1273 is given over to the sale of the meats, provisions and other articles of the stork.  The establishment does an immense business in its line, having for its patrons the highest and most exclusive class of residents of Dorchester and carries a complete stock of fine staple and fancy groceries, canned goods, butter. eggs, cheese, teas. coffees, spices, all of the leading brands of family flour, which it sells at the lowest prices, and other ar­ticles for the kitchen and the table, in number too many to permit mention here. The firm makes a notable specialty of its teas and coffees and enjoys a reputation for keeping the highest grade of these two household commodities to be found for miles around.

Mr. Fulton is a native of Boston.  He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and is a highly respected citizen of the community.  He gives employment to eight people and makes use of four delivery wagons in his daily business.
