J Wolf & Co.
Custom Tailors to Men and Women at 79 Stoughton St.
J (Joseph) Wolf & Co.. tailors at No. 79 Stoughton street, Dorchester, established their business in January, 1907. The establishment is owned by Mr. Wolf, the “Co.” in the firm name being wholly nominal. The concern makes custom clothing for both men and women and has met with much success since its store was opened to the patronage of the public. A good stock of imported and domestic fabrics, representing the latest patterns and designs in fashionable material is always to be found in the store, from which the customers of the place have a wide range of selection. All garments made here are guaranteed to be perfect in workmanship, fit and style, nothing with imperfections in it being permitted to leave the premises. A competent force of workmen is employed and orders are quickly filled in this establishment. The prices which prevail there are moderate in the extreme and come within the reach of all. No one, no matter how slender his purse, need go badly dressed so long as the tailoring house of J. Wolf & Co. remains in existence. The firm also does cleaning, pressing, dyeing and repairing at the sane low prices and performs all of this kind of work in the most skilful manner. Work is called for and delivered.
Mr. Wolf was born in Russia and has been a resident of Boston for the last twelve years. He is a member the Knights of Pythias and of the Independent Order of Brith Abraham. He is a man now in middle life and is highly respected in the community, both as a business man and private citizen.
