Mr. Desmond was born in Ireland awl was educated in the schools of the City of Boston. He has resided in Dorchester since 1901. He is a member of the Independent Order of Heptasophs and has been connected with his trade for the last fifteen years. He is a very popular man in the community and is universally respected and esteemed.
