M (Maximilian) W. Weis

Popular and Reliable Druggist, 93 Stoughton Street.

M W. Weis is the proprietor of a well-known and reliable drug store at No. 93 Stoughton Street, Dorchester, which enjoys the complete confidence of the surrounding population, and is most liberally patronized. Mr. Weis went into business there in May 1, 1907, succeeding George R. Wiley. The store is commodious and is well arranged, having a handsome soda water fountain and other appointments in keeping.  The Weis stock of goods is large and comprehensive, consisting of pure and fresh drugs, chemicals, proprietary medicines, rubber goods, sick room and hospital supplier, perfumery, candies, stationery, toilet requisites, liniments, lotions, cigars, cigarettes, druggists’ novelties, etc., too numerous to warrant recital here.  All of these goods are of standard grades, no inferior articles ever being bought for the store.  Mr. Weis makes a special feature of the most careful attention to the prescriptions of physicians, and sees to it that none but the purest and freshest drugs and other ingredients are ever permitted to enter the composition of those viatl mixtures for the sick.  In consequence, the Weis store has an enviable reputation among the members of the medical faculty of the vicinity.

Mr. Weis was born in Germany and has lived in Dorchester for a number of years.  He is highly popular among those with whom he associates, and is considered a public spirited and patriotic member of the community.
