The Mt. Pleasant Methodist Episcopal Church was located on Howard Avenue near Dudley Street. This area of Dorchester is very near the Dorchester and Roxbury boundary line at Cottage Street.
Founded at the corner of Dudley Street and North Avenue, this congregation moved in 1876 to Howard Avenue.
