Phillips Brooks (1835-1893), the rector of Trinity Church from 1869 to 1891 and Episcopal Bishop of Massachusetts from 1891 until his death, was born in Boston. He graduated from Harvard in 1855 and was ordained into the Episcopal Church in 1859. Brooks wrote the verses to the Christmas Song “O Little Town of Bethlehem”.

Apparently this school is no longer in existence.
