Proprietors of a Popular and Well Patronized Dry Goods Store at Ashmont—Established 1897—Located at 1853 Dorchester Avenue.

In a review of the business interests of Ashmont, one of the prominent re­tail establishments that calls for particular attention is the dry goods store of Tenney & McQuaid, which has assumed a prominent place in the trade of Ashmont.

The firm established their business in the latter part of I897 and have built up a good trade and made a reputation for such a standard of business princi­ples as has given their patrons every confidence in the establishment.  T

The firm has a commodious and attractive store with a frontage on the avenue of about forty feet.  They carry a complete line of staple dry goods, small wares and notions, such as are in every day demand.

They also handle gentlemen’s and ladies’ furnishing goods. The stock is kept up to date, new and fresh and Patrons have always found both goods anti prices satisfactory. The most obliging attention and service are given to the patrons of the store and both ladies and gentlemen will find this a most satisfactory place to trade.
