Skilful locksmith and machinist, 1858 Dorchester Avenue, Ashmont

Manuel Santos, a young locksmith and machinist, conducts a most useful establishment at No. 1858 Dorchester Avenue, Ashmont, which he opened four years ago.  Mr. Santos maintains a salesroom with a shop in the rear part.   He deals in lawn mowers, bicycles, sporting goods and electrical supplies and acts as agent for the Crown American bicycle.  He makes a specialty of locksmithing and light machine work, doing all kinds of small repairing I the most skilful manner and promptly.  He also sells rubber tires and supplies for the articles he keeps in stock.  He is assisted in his work by a corps of skilled mechanics.  Al orders over the telephone receive immediate and careful attention.

Mr. Santos was born in Boston and was brought up and educated in this city.  Early in life, he showed an inclination for mechanics and took up that branch of labor from choice.  He has been connected with his trade for the last ten years and is a mechanical expert of high attainments.  He is still a young man and is active and industrious and full of ambition to make a success of life.  He is recognized for his strict business ability and integrity and is one of the most popular young men in the community.  His store is liberally patronized by bicyclists and others who require small and quick repair work to be done.
