Overview: This leather bound, unsigned, autograph volume contains 224 pages of manuscript abstracts, in Latin, of sermons by Rev. Nathaniel Clapp (1668/1669-1745; Harvard AB 1690) a minister in Newport, Rhode Island. They span the period from 1706-1707.

Also includes social invitations, letters of transmittal and recommendation, documents from phrenological societies, and Capen’s collection of autograph letters.
