Henry Belcher Callender, of Boston, member of the Suffolk bar, was born in Dorchester (now of Boston), January 17, 1864, son of Henry and Adeline (Jones) Callender. He was educated in the public schools of Boston. graduating from the Harris School in 1878, and at the Roxbury Latin School, where he was graduated in 1883. His law studies were pursued in the Boston Uni­versity Law School, where he spent one year, and in the office of Lewis S. Dabney ; and he was ad­mitted to the bar in February, 1887. He has since been actively engaged in general practice in Boston. He is interested in politics as a Repub­lican, and was an active member of the Republican ward and city committee in 1891-92-93. His club affiliations are with the Massachusetts Yacht Club. Mr. Callender is unmarried.
