John W. McCormack Monument
John W. McCormack was a Massachusetts State Representative from 1920 to 1922, a Massachusetts State Senator from 1923 to 1926, a US Representative from 1928 to 1971. From 1962 to 1970 he was Speaker of the US House of Representatives. The monument is located on Columbia Road between Dorchester Avenue and the Expressway.
