A New Year’s Gift to a Church. The parishioners of the Hollis-street Church were pleasantly surprised yesterday morning by seeing a most elegant marble christening font before their new pulpit. It was designed and executed by the brothers Carew from whose studio and workshop in Harrison avenue, some very praiseworthy busts and tasteful monumental pieces have emanated.
