Kinnear’s Bicycle Agency at No. 1152 Washington Street, Dorchester Lower Mills, Dorchester, is recognized as the headquarters for the best in bicycles in that part of the district. The store was established in October 1902, and it has occupied its present ‘oration for the last ten years. Mr. Kinnear acts an agent for the Columbia and Hudson makes of bicycles and keeps a large stock of these machines on sale. He also deals in baseballs and other sporting goods, Edison phonographs and the newest records therefore. He is an expert machinist and does skilful bicycle and automobile repairing, making difficult work a specialty. He also builds bicycles to order for customers who desire wheels made. especially for them. All of the work he performs he guarantees to be satisfactory, and his charges are reasonable. The store is a favorite resort of wheel men end is liberally patronized. The workshop is fully equipped with all of the most modern mechanical appliances and devices required in the operation of this business. Mr. Kinnear has been especially successful in his work of repairing automobiles, and motorists who have trouble with their machines on the road, if in this neighborhood are wont to make their way to the Kinnear shop to have their machines put in order again, and this is always quickly and skillfully accomplished by Mr. Kinnear, and the automobilists depart rejoicing at their good fortune in having a service so efficient as his.
Mr. Kinnear was born in Boston and has long been a resident of Dorchester Lower Mills. He is highly respected in the community.
