This Michael Mullen may have been the 19-year-old of South Boston who lost both is legs in Korea. His parents lived at 24 Everdean Street, Dorchester, at the time he came home. He planned to live with his parents at a ranch house opposite the L-Street bathhouse to be constructed through money donated to the cause.
The marker was not found at Edison Green in a survey in 2021.
