Thomas B Griffin Jr. United States Army 24 October 1947 – 1 January 1968 Thomas B Griffin Jr was born on October 24, 1947 in Boston. As a resident of Dorchester, Thomas joined the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Thomas served as Specialist Four with the 1st Army Postal Unit. He was KIA in South Vietnam, Binh Dinh province due to a Non-hostile helicopter crash, he died while missing. For the heroism displayed in his service to our country, Thomas was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal.

Griffin graduated from Mission High School in 1965. He was killed near An Khe, Vietnam.
