Angelo Guido Corsetti was born to Eliviva and Pasuale Corsetti on November 20, 1924, in Roxbury, MA. He attended Memorial High School, graduating in 1942. Angelo was inducted into the United Stated Marine Corps on May 27, 1943. Private First Class (PFC) Corsetti was assigned to the 23rd Marines 4th Marine Division, where he proudly served until he died while in service to our country on February 19, 1945 at Iwo Jima. PFC Corsetti was awarded the Purple Heart for the heroism he demonstrated in his service to our country. Angelo was survived by his parents, Eliviva and Pasquale Corsetti of Roxbury, MA.

He lived at 169 Quincy Street, Roxbury.
