The congregation was founded in 1908 at 14 Crawford Street.

From 1911 to 1914, this congregation was known as Hadrath Kodesh and was located in Roxbury.  From 1914 to 1919, the congregation was located at 1000 Blue Hill Avenue.  The congregation was also known as the Lithuanian Shul, reflecting the country of origin of many of its members.

In 1970, the building was sold, and the congregation merged into Temple Adas Israel in Hyde Park, which was renamed at that time Congregation Adas Hadrath.

In 2020 the building is being used as the Faithful Church of Christ.
