Francis J. O’Toole United States Marine Corps 6 January 1923 – 19 May 1945 Francis O’Toole was born on January 6, 1923 in South Boston. He resided on 999 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester. O’Toole showed his love for our country when he was enlisted into the United States Marine Corps on March 8, 1944 in Boston. He was ranked private first class and died in service on May 19, 1945 in Okinawa during the battle of Okinawa. O’Toole survived by his father Cole.
