Robert James Hain United States Army 14 November 1932 – 6 May 1963 Robert James Hain was born on November 14, 1932 in Chelsea MA. As a resident of Dorchester MA, Robert enlisted into the United States Army during the Korean War from 1949-1952. Robert served as Staff Sergeant in the Btry “B”, 3rd AAA AW Bn, (SP); APO 468. Robert re-enlisted in the United States Army on February 14, 1961 during the Vietnam war, and served with DET A 132D 1st Special Forces Group in the Hyukyus Islands. He was Killed in action in South Vietnam, Quang Ngai Province on May 6, 1963 due to a fatal gunshot incurred while on patrol duty. Robert was survived by his mother Florence M. Nadelli a resident of Dorchester.
