This congregation was founded in 1921 by faculty and students of Hebrew Teachers College. In 1970, the temple was merged with congregation Beth Torah of West Roxbury to form Temple Hill Bnai Torah.
The building is now used by Berea S. D. A. Academy (Seventh Day Adventist)
