Thomas Joseph Kane United States Marine Corps 10 July 1948 – 21 September 1966 Thomas Joseph Kane was born on July 10 1948 in Boston. As a resident of Dorchester he showed his love for our country when he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps on October 26, 1965 and began active duty that same day. Thomas served as Private with the 3rd Marine Division, 1st Battalion, 26th Marines, and Company C. He was KIA on September 21, 1966 in the Vicinity of Quang Tri, Republic of Vietnam as the result of injuries sustained while engaged in action against hostile forces. For the heroism displayed in his service to our country, Thomas was awarded the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. Thomas was survived by his parents Anthony and Nora Kane residents of Dorchester.

Kane lived at 680 Columbia Road.
