 Bristol Robertson, Jr. United States Marine Corps 25 July 1948 – 1 November 1967 Bristol Robertson, Jr. was born to Mary and Bristol Robertson, Sr. on July 25, 1948, in Dorchester. His family lived on Lucerne Street.  Bristol enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on July 23, 1967. Corporal (CPL) Robertson was assigned to the 4th Regiment, where he served as an Antitank Assaultman, until he was killed in the Thua Thien Province of South Vietnam on November 1, 1967, by an explosive device. CPL Robertson was awarded the Purple Heart and the Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation. Bristol was survived by his mother and is buried at Falls Road Cemetery, Kenbridge, Lunenburg County, VA.
