Calvin Harding Wilson United States Army 8 November 1924 – 23 March 1945

Calvin Harding Wilson was born on November 8, 1924, in Boston MA. Showing his love for our country, Calvin enlisted into the United States Army on November 10, 1942, and began active duty two days later on November 12, 1942. Calvin served as Staff Sergeant in the 700th Bomber Squadron, Heavy, and the 445th Bomber Group.  On March 23, 1945 Calvin was declared missing and presumed dead over the European area. For the heroism displayed in his service to our country, Calvin was awarded the Purple Heart, American Campaign Medal, and the World War II victory Medal. Calvin was survived by his mother Mrs. Mary E. Wilson a resident of Dorchester.
