Julian Yorks, United States Army 2 February 1917 – 7 January 1943 Julian Yorks was born on February 2, 1917, in Malden MA. As a resident of Dorchester, Julian inducted into the United States Army on June 27, 1941, and began active duty that same day. Julian served as Private First Class with the Cavalry. He was KIA in New Caledonia on January 7, 1943. Julian was survived by his mother Ida Yorks a resident of Dorchester.
