The intersection of Gallivan Boulevard and Morton Street was designated a Hero Square for Frederick W. Bartlett.

The Boston Globe, July 21, 1932, says the square was named for Frederick E. Bartlett.  Fredereick E. Bartlett was formerly attached to Station 19, Boston Police.  He was a World War veteran.  Bartlett died from an auto accident on December 10, 1930.   In another article of the same day, the newspaper said his name was Frederick W. Bartlett.
